Jeff's brother, David, happily accepted the role of Best Man. These guys have shared so many hobbies, projects, and trips over the years, so there was no doubt Jeff would want David standing next to him on this important day.

Jeff and Ravi have been friends since the early 90s. Together they traveled all over the country and world as part of a school team. It was during this time, while hanging out in Sitka, Alaska, that Jeff introduced Ravi to Live's Throwing Copper album. Since then, Ravi has been thoroughly into music. Jeff takes full credit.

Adam is the reason Jeff doesn't skip leg days. Adam and Jeff worked together for several years, but it was the time together in the gym that started their friendship. Adam is always the first person to help someone in need (friend or stranger) and the best person to attend ACL with.

John was Jeff's cubicle mate back in 2008. Like Tim Taylor's neighbor, Wilson, from Home Improvement, John was always willing to lean over the cube wall to listen and offer sage advice. Some of Jeff's fondest memories together are John's annual crawfish party and hanging out on John's fully pimped-out cigar patio.

Why does Jeff not have any friends his height? Probably because all the best bourbon is hidden up top and he needs giants like Tommy to grab them. Jeff and Tommy were next door neighbors in 1985. They first met while riding Big Wheels in their driveways, and they have been close friends ever since.

Lauren and Jen have known each other since kindergarten. Both knew they wanted to become teachers when they grew up. Lauren began teaching 1st grade after graduating from Texas State and Jen became a music teacher after graduating from Drake University. They promised each other that one day they would be in each other's weddings, so it should have been no surprise to Jen when Lauren asked her to be the Matron of Honor!

Aubrey and Lauren met while teaching at the same school in 2016. They became close friends while teaching kindergarten. Lauren and Aubrey could spend hours talking about anything and everything, especially on those "teacher work days" when they should have been setting up their classrooms. Aubrey's bubbly personality and loyal friendship made it an easy decision for Lauren to ask her to be one of her bridesmaids.

Lauren and Kim met in 2022 working together at Fort Sam Houston Elementary. Spending the majority of the work day in Lauren's classroom, they formed a close friendship. Kim was one of the first people Lauren told about Jeff, how they met, and couldn't wait to hear how their first date went! Kim is the friend Lauren goes to for advice knowing she'll always give her honest opinion. It was easy for Lauren to choose Kim to stand beside her at her wedding.

Vanessa is Jeff's oldest daughter. Vanessa helped with Jeff and Lauren's engagement. Last August, Jeff took Lauren out to dinner at Eberly in Austin. Vanessa was at home setting up candles, champagne, and strawberries that Jeff had gotten delivered after they left for dinner. When they arrived home later that night, Vanessa greeted them at the door. She secretly and swiftly passed the ring off to Jeff as Lauren was led inside to a beautiful setup and that was when Jeff popped the question!

Eva is Jeff's youngest daughter. Eva helped Vanessa set up the evening of Jeff's proposal, but also the day of. School was starting in a few weeks, and Lauren was invited by Eva and Vanessa to get their nails done together. Eva explained that it was a tradition to get "Back to School" manicures and pedicures. Lauren would never pass up the opportunity for a mani/pedi. Thanks to Eva and Vanessa, Lauren's nails looked great for pictures later that evening when Jeff proposed!
